YES! I was really hoping for a -another story- version of this song. =w=
It's really interesting to see the story from another point of view and it made me laugh at some points xD Like for example, in the original, GUMI sings "kimi wa unazuku" (you nod your head), but it's actually because the girl was too shy to look at the boy haha ("kao mirenai yo"/I can't look at his face)
But in this song series (consisting of Hatsukoi no Ehon, Kokuhaku Yokou Renshuu and Yakimochi no Kotae), it's like quite sad, because the two girls of Yakimochi & KokuhakuRenshuu have their happy endings but the first girl (Hatsukoi no Ehon / Picture Book of My First Love) didn't manage to get together with the boy, and they liked each other too!! Hatsukoi no Ehon always pulls at my heartstrings TT_TT
Oh, and this song basically is the girl wanting to fall in love with someone :3 So apparently she didn't have someone she likes. But she ends up being interested in the boy~ So yeah, we shall assume and have the two of them get together lol!
Oh, and Honeyworks uploaded another new song, but I haven't gone around to romanising it (even though it's been on repeat).
The Solution to Jealousy / ヤキモチの答え (YAKIMOCHI NO KOTAE) [For some reason I feel like I have to justify my translations, so here goes: as some might know "no" has many meanings when used differently. "Kotae" is usually translated as "answer", but it can also mean "solution" - according to my app anyway...sorry for being lazy to check my dictionaries. And anyway, my first thought when I read the title was "a jealous answer"... which, after listening to the song, doesn't really make sense, to me anyway. Thus my translation. Yeah.]

Ya anyway, this song is really cute and Yamako's illustrations are really beautiful! Not sure if there will be a Girl's Viewpoint version of the song, because this song seems connected to Kokuhaku Yokou Renshuu (the guy and girl are friends of the guy and girl in this song [incoherent language alert]), somewhat like being set in the same universe. LOL. Some people are also hoping for a girl's version!
But the guy is really super cute in the song haha. At first he didn't have the courage to confess to her, but he's like "wow I hope the guy she likes will find a girlfriend" - damn bad right lol. But then he ends up finding the courage to confess to her because he wants to have her to himself lololol (kimi wo hitorijime shitakute). Because he's like always getting jealous, and struggling with those feelings that he can't feel at ease so he's like "I'll confess to her". Thus my translation to the title. Yes yes. Super cute. But some parts are still hard to understand orz really want to translate this song meep.
