I actually haven't written a proper entry since like omg, 10 months ago. WOW.
And what events have transpired since then..
Well, I bought a lot of coses, and I have not gone out to shoot them at all. Yep. I should really do that... And also the Grell cos I was rushing out for Anime Matsuri, I haven't done a shoot for that either. Gosh.
I went to quite alot of events last year as well, and my life was really revolving around anime, cosplay and events. It was actually a pretty good lifestyle. But well, I have to advance somewhere, haha. So I can't play as much this year. Also went to Comic Fiesta again, stayed in Traders Hotel. I think that's about it... All the stuff I've been doing last year.. Cosplay and events... Okay looking at it like that, that is really not a healthy lifestyle.
This year, I went to Japan in March! For 4 days! Because I had a flight delay! (cry-laughs) I wonder if I should blog about that. Maybe I will.
Over the 10 months I have also bought some utaite CDs.. I should get around to romanising them. So far I've only done Wotamin's.
Sometimes I feel like doing a proper blog, with a theme, but I'm too lazy to maintain it, so I'll just keep this chapalang thing a while longer (lol). I also feel like making videos sometimes.. ah well.
Oh yeah, I found a new mic to buy! Was planning on getting the AT-2020 but the USB ver was sold out where I planned to get it so I didn't. And then while chatting with some friends from my sound team, they recommended a Snowball, so I suppose I'll get that. I mean, I don't really need a really fantastic mic. Honestly, I thought the mic on my Macbook was okay, until I listened to my recordings on a pair of headphones and realised that okay, I should get a proper mic. Seriously. But I still don't need anything fancy. And I really don't want to get an interface. So. I guess that was good. I'll get a Snowball.
I supposed the next few entries will be utaite CDs and my 4 days in Japan. Also, I have gotten too lazy to blog about magazines and my purchases anymore, lol.

Hello! So I haven't been posting much because I, honestly, forgot about this blog. I completely forgot about blogging. OTL
But some quick updates is that I recently started a new part-time at a restaurant/bar with really nice pay *w* The people are nice too, and there is a really cute bartender *w* (
Let's see what else has happened since I last blogged... *looks into the distance* Hmm, I guess a few events have passed? I went to J-Obsession and wanted to go Asia Cosplay Meet (commonly called Cure Fest) but it rained so I didn't go ACM in the end.
Also did a few casual/seifuku shoots with friends (went to Flower Dome and Sky Forest at Gardens by the Bay for the first time!!) and participated in the first Harajuku Walk in SG! Wore Lolita that day. I want to graduate from sweet loli le lol...
Okay! So that's all the highlights~ (lol)
Anime Matsuri at Funan IT Mall, by AFA starts tomorrow! I'm planning to go on Sat and Sun because the stage events for those dates interest me (and they haven't really released the schedules for the weekdays either?? AFA wat u doing) Planning to go on Friday evening if I can afford to!! (Chionging costume... current progress is 0%.)
Yep, and Saturday is training for the PIKA PIKA Party on 21 Jun as well, will go after visiting Anime Matsuri.
Yep. I should start styling my wig and then tomorrow after buying fabrics instantly pre-wash them then Tuesday start production.
All.. the best... to me.. lol... ganbarimasu...
Also, why do I just like guys with good-looking faces. Yea, why man. Why. Sigh.

So recently my Photoshop trial expired (uhu) and I'm gonna get it licensed soon (after I get my pay) but I can't edit photos now, unless I use GIMP which I really don't want to (ok i'm just making excuses to not edit photos)
but anyway I edited quite a few photos already but just don't want to upload bc BL *cough* embarrassing somemoreeeee. Got this one that I on-the-spot wanted to take bc I was just draping(??) myself on my friend then thought of the pose, and IT'S SO EMBARRASSING JUST LOOKING AT THE THUMBNAIL. So I haven't even opened it and omg the photog still said take a few more lol so I have like, don't know how many shots of that in my computer now.....
But anyway, I just started working again, because I really need to, if I want to finish my cosplans for this year....
Yeah. Lunar New Year is coming~ Not sure if I'll be getting angbao though :/
Life has been boring lately.
I'm not sure what I did for the past 3 weeks. Other than that K shoot. And editing photos before PS expired.

Here's a quick update before I resume my prop-making for STGCC tomorrow!
Prop status: Sabre is left with hilt, sheath is left with painting. Told myself I'll sleep by midnight if not I'll get eyebags this next day but I doubt I can!
Costume modification: Collar cut off, open seams are ignored because I take too long to hand sew all that!! TT_TT I'm gonna leave the buttons where they are and fix them for the photoshoot instead. Wristbands are still pink. (Gotta fix that asap)
But that aside, what updates I've been planning are basically recent hauls (that's like almost what my blog content is about anyway omg. My life is boring.). I don't think I have the time to write and post on the spot, so I'll probably schedule them over the week(s).
I think I will bring my DSLR over to STGCC because I bought 1-day tickets in the end (to see redjuice!) so within the event hall I'll be carrying about a camera and shooting stuff. Will probably reject any photo requests since I can't just get rid of my DSLR like that. (That sounds really arrogant/presumptuous for some reason... it's not like I'm so popular/ikemen that people will ask me for photos LOL.) My mum said she wanna go and see me (LOL!) so my luggage probably will ask her to take care /hit
SO anyway, the point of that chunk up there was to say that I'll post up an entry (with photos, yes, finally) regarding STGCC after the event.
And then all the haul entries will gradually start updating (and I can hear my neighbours laugh from next door and it sounded so witchy :x).
After STGCC I won't be going to any events/cosplaying (save the K photoshoot with my friend) until December's Comic Fiesta in Kuala Lumpur.
Cosplays for that would be Senbonzakura Meiko (Japanese-influenced military uniform version) and Inu x Boku SS Ririchiyo (school uniform). Will have a photoshoot for Senbonzakura with my other friends (who are going Comic Fiesta as well) probably before we fly.
Oh, and I'll also be shooting for my friend's Skip Beat! Heel Siblings cosplay photoshoot in KL. Because we will be staying in a hotel, she said "why not take advantage of that fact and do a Heel siblings shoot there as well." I hardly shoot people, so this will be a good experience! Gonna have to read up that arc after my exams are over.

SO. I haven't done a proper post in really long and.... well... I think I'm really boring LOL. /hit
So anyway, KOC II in Tokyo (TRC) is coming soon!!! I hope my proxy will go to the event because some of my favourite circles are including novelties with their doujinshi. I'll probably mail-order instead for some of the circles though, because I can't afford the commission for so many circles ;v; I'll be getting an anthology through the event instead I think, because 100+ pages doujins somehow cost a lot more expensive when ordering from doujin sites. And I saw the novelty that the circle which organised(?) the anthology put up, for KOC II Osaka and it's so cute I want it ;_; I hope that KOC II will have that novelty too..
OHYES. And end of year Kuala Lumpur (KL) event Comic Fiesta! I'll be going to that event with a few of my friends. =w= wktk. First time going to an overseas convention. And first time going to KL lolol. I've only been to Penang, Johor Bahru and Malacca. Always wanted to go KL and see see.
The plans for that event will be Senbonzakura Meiko for Day 1 and Inu x Boku SS Ririchiyo for Day 2! Initially, my friend Mirai and her boyfriend planned to cosplay Senbonzakura Miku and Kaito, then when I asked Nanami about our cosplans, Nanami decided to cosplay with them so we ended up with a group cos fufu. But because we are tall people, we couldn't cosplay Rin/Len. (I still want to cosplay Senbonzakura Rin though, one day..) So we decided to cosplay Luka and Meiko, since they are tall characters hahaha! Now I want to cos Geisha Meiko... but the costume is so expensive and the wig is hard to find.. I might have to buy a normal long wig and style it myself orz. We are also planning a photoshoot for this~
As for the Inu x Boku SS cosplay, I'll be cosplaying with Nanami who will be doing Karuta.
Excited for Comic Fiesta and visiting KL! Malaysia's a scary place, but I've been to Malacca and JB... Like okay leh. But when I told my mum she was like telling me all the horror stories about crimes in Malaysia orz
Yesterday I also did a make-up costest for Ciel Phantomhive Robin version. I actually stuck on double false lashes wwww I put on one of Springheart's false lashes, then Diamond Lash half-lashes, and two different Dolly Wink bottom lashes wwwww It was quite uncomfortable lol. And I tried the gluestick method for concealing eyebrows. It's a pretty hard method to do properly. And I used so much concealor covering that damn thingggg!!
Oh, and seriously I think one can never get enough of makeup I'm just gonna go broke buying makeup zz =="
KATE released this new colour for their eyebrow mascara Eyebrow Colour In (?) and it's "skintone beige". I tried it out on my brow (yes because I have side fringe so it covers up like half of my face if I'm not careful. Kinda annoying. I don't know how anime characters do it) AND IT'S ACTUALLY PRETTY GOOD. Well obviously you still get the eyebrow shape so I'll have to conceal it if I want to draw new brows... I'm actually pretty tempted to get my brows plucked and trimmed thinner the next time I get them done. =="
I also want to get some items from ettusais. Next time. And I also want to try this face powder selling in SASA. But it's so expensive it's $44.
Need to buy lenses too~~ (wait has this become a shopping list?!
OH YES. I've been watching FREE! and I think it's really a KyoAni anime to the end because it keeps making me laugh! Like Tamako Market (K-On not counted because it's adapted from a manga). And the guys are so good-looking and the art is actually really nice and also I realised on Friday that I'm actually older than high-school boys now so I'm like pedo-ing Makoto and Rin why. And I really like the ED
I know it's a really "over-hyped" anime and everyone's talking about it and it's like fujoshi fodder blabla but I'm watching it because I like swimming (I actually like watching shows with plot focusing around swimming esp competitive swimming) and it's KyoAni man! How can you not like KyoAni?! I'm actually looking forward to the animation for another of their CMs, Kyokai no Kanata. Ayakashi-themed leh! How can you not like. (Sigh, so many anime to watch. How do the Japanese keep up man. I'm like @A@ and I need to study ahh（悲鳴

I'll be making my K Fushimi Saruhiko SCEPTER 4 sabre from scratch (4 weeks to go!). I'm thinking of uploading progress shots, and maybe vague/rough explanations or directions on what I'm doing. But I'll be referring to various sword-making tutorials (AH AND I HAVE TO MAKE THE SHEATH TOO CRAP I keep forgetting about it. Does anywhere in Singapore sell sheaths. orz Because I really don't know how to make the sheath with the materials available in Singapore... need to hunt around more maybe uhu TT_TT)

So school started (after 2 weeks of break, which might as well no break because I've totally lost my momentum for going to school orz) and I really gotta buck up la basically omg. less than half a year to A's and I haven't even started studying seriously wtf.
And also I need to wake up earlier lol so that I can collect my parcels. If not my dad keeps accepting the packages... Um... somehow I don't really like the idea of that because he'll know I'm spending money on stuff he doesn't agree with. (Like CDs. He thinks CDs are useless things. I have a lot of them by the way. Maybe I'll count them and list them out when I move house.)
But anyway, I just ordered kemu's PANDORA VOXX REBOOT from Amazon JP (and here's hoping they'll arrive before I move lol. Hopefully they'll arrive on Friday)
To be honest I don't really follow/listen to kemu's PANDORA song series (lesser than KagePro) but the REBOOT album is an utaite version! "Official cover album", as described.
And I listen to all of the utaites who participated in it lol (Okay, except GERO and Utakawa Sakura)
And SUZUMU.
Um yeah I bought the limited edition (so ex.. ;_;) because of Disc3 = Suzumu's arranges. Heard a little from the crossfade uploaded on NicoDou~ (after I bought the album LOL. Who buys an album first then listens to sample hahaha)
Tomorrow I'll be going to catch the movie EPIC! I love animated films yes. Almost all the movies I watch are animated, actually. I hardly watch live-action movies...on my own accord. :/ Hmm.
Well. I guess I shall go work on the romanisation for Mekakucity Records lyrics (halfway there...!) and then maybe start packing some of my stuff for the move. I can totally hear my dad and sister doing it now and they'll prolly ask me to do it soon. Eep.

I first found out Andy's sabre name (but I already knew Enomoto's one from some info GoRa released like waaay back) and I was like "Andy's and Enomoto's names just take the cake man." And then I found out Hidaka's. Immediate reaction: HIDAKA YOU WIN. And Gotouuuu is your sabre a pet lol!
Oh, and yes Fushimi's sabre name was also revealed but in other tweets. We also know his other profile info from the K Trading CD where he and Misaki interviewed each other. Will compile them below:

Oh yes, someone also compiled all the S4 members' sabre names here and it includes Munakuata's & Seri's. Munakata's was revealed the same time as Enomoto, and I think Seri's as well, but I can't really remember. So, Munakata's sabre's name is Sirius (天狼 TEN ROU), and Seri's is Kikyou (桔梗).

Today I finally managed to buy stuff I've been wanting for super long (probably since the beginning of the year), from ASOS! I think many people know about ASOS already, right...? The thing most people know about that is probably their free standard shipping worldwide. So I just placed/sent my order this evening and I hope they arrive soon! :D Bought a pair of flats and 3 stockings/tights lol. Will do up another entry when they arrive, whee!
I'm also gonna talk about anime that are coming soon (summer anime)!
Ok, I just wanted an excuse to mention Brothers Conflict. Have I talked about it already?? No, I don't think so ahaha. Anyway, go check out the website for the game (by Otomate which makes it even more awesome) and the anime!
It's one of those games for people with weird interests (cough um lol) like a brother complex, or something because in this game you can choose to fall in love with one of your 13 brothers. And the youngest brother is 10 years old lol. (shota alert), and the oldest is 31 (but he's a doctor and he's actually pretty good-looking and even though he's a doctor he can't handle blood lol?!). OH and there's also a cross-dressing novelist brother.
My 3 favourite characters are: Louis/Rui (瑠生), a hair-stylist or beautician (I think more towards hairstyling). He seems pretty close to Ema's squirrel(called Julie/Juri which is voiced by Kamiya Hiroshi what on earth); and the identical(?) twins Azusa (梓) and Tsubaki (椿), professional seiyuus! According to the website profile, they apparently "sell"(?) in a package, which means when they voice-act for something both of them have to be hired together, I think. I know that they don't look identical at all, but it's mentioned in their profiles that they "come from the same egg" so yea that means they're identical twins right? OH, and actually to be more accurate, they are triplets with the 7th son Natsume (棗) who doesn't look a single bit similar!! (LOL)
Wanna play otome games but I'm really not the kinds to play games lol. I bought Really? Really! for DS once. I started it one day and. I haven't gone back to it (Eh well it's not an otome game but just sayin')
Summer is really such a good time~ All the new animes airing in JULY!
Actually it's just FREE! and Brothers Conflict I'm really interested in. But I think other summer animes coming out are AoHaRide (or Aoharu Ride) and Yankee-kun to Megane-chan (really love the manga and the mangaka's other works!). So 4 animes to look forward to! (With A levels at the end of the year... why do I feel like this is not going well..)
Watashi ga Motenai no wa Dou Kangaetemo Omaera ga Warui! is also coming out with an anime in July lol. That was pretty unexpected.

Okay, I haven't been blogging at all recently because I'm really too much of a lazy person *bows* and also blogging regularly isn't really a habit nowadays, since I kicked it like in mid-2012, because I was blogging way too crazy stuff (like you don't even want to know...).
And it's really getting hot here in Singapore and it makes me feel like not doing anything 何もしたくない何をやる気が起きない
My electronic devices are heating up like....*shakes head* Not sure if it's because my phone is dying (and I dropped it twice from my height yesterday too ;_;) or if it's really the temperature here, but it keeps hitting 40~45 degress Celsius, which is obviously not a healthy temperature for your battery to be at.
This morning I went to Macs nearby to buy McBreakfast and the moment I stepped out of my house I just started perspiring and it's only 11 in the morning excuse me? And the air-conditioning everywhere else is so freaking cold, can you imagine stepping out of a bus and be greeted by this crazyass heat. OTL I just wanna nua on my bed. I don't even wanna read doujinshi because I'll leave fingerprint marks on the covers because of the heat. =="
Anyway, this is probably gonna be a photo-less(?) post because I am too lazyyy and my phone lags way too much nowadays it gets irritating to edit the photos I take.
Oh, I don't have a working air-con in my house by the way. All the air-cons in my house are spoilt somehow or the other. Like the one in my room doesn't blow cold air.....==" the only working air-con we have is currently in a room we don't use. At all. *dies*
Okay, back to what I'm planning to update here on this space.
1 KOC doujinshi!
They arrived on Wednesday afternoon~ And my proxy was so nice to get a paper (ペーパー) from K&T/炬燵太郎 for me even though I didn't ask for any doujinshi from that circle. (Well I did want the cup..but it's kinda small for my liking. I like big mugs~ 500mlくらい) She placed the 2 papers (other from Quartierlatin) in a file and when I opened the packaged I saw Kotaro's paper first, and I was so so so surprised and excited and when I saw that it was really from Kotaro I was like freaking happy I instagrammed it instantly. Plus Kotaro didn't upload her paper on pixiv (Wasi did so I knew how it looks like). Kotaro's style is so damn pretty seriously. Her guys are all damn ikemen and her girls look damn cool and beautiful. I only think that she spaces eyes too far apart sometimes but that's of little concerrrrnnnn *flowers everywhere*

3 I fell sick on Wednesday (lolwut)
HAHAHA YEA. I think it's cus I didn't drink alot of water the previous 2 days and the weather was just killer so I had a bit of dry/sore throat which resulted in a bit of cough and I had vocal lesson so I was singing and then after that when I reached home: full-blown cough lolol.
The next morning ended up with blocked/runny nose + super crazy cough = sick liao lor. lolol. Couldn't go for class and tuition the whole day. Srsly when I fall sick I'm just bed-ridden. And I don't feel like eating or doing anything so I just lie in bed and suffer (while tweeting about it lolol). It actually feels pretty terrible ahaha my immune system is getting worse. Didn't use to get sick so badly or often when I was younger (oh, the irony)
Anyway, the next day (yesterday) I ended up with a fever as well SIGH. Plus headache because in my body headache = fever.
Srsly mannn don't wanna fall sick again but with this kind of weather.... HAIIZ.

Konnyachiwassu! (ok i'm sorry: Kon'nichiwa)
I bought some magazines for the month of JUNE~ KERA, Popteen and 別冊spoon 2Di Vol 35.
Lately, for me, KERA hasn't been much interesting. But it does give me alot of inspiration for the boku-girl style (or dansou男装/cross-dressing) and as usual, alot of make-up tips!
June's Popteen was much better than May's though.. But I think May's was rather interesting as they did a survey among guys on what they like in a girl and other stuff (so that girls can better understand guys and therefore get a bf). I like the current fashion trends going on now - most of it. And I got to see more Pikarin and Saaya~ I think Saaya is a pretty cute (personality) girl and I hope she continues to work hard in Popteen!
The cover for spoon2Di was Tamako Market this time! And Attack on Titan was the Wcover. There was a 22-page special on Tamako Market, which contains interviews with the main production team (director, character design, setting...) & main cast, special images and some extra information (like the people of shopping district and inspiration behind the different chara designs). I'm also pretty convinced I have the attention span of 1 interview (lol). Director's (Yamada Naoko) interview was special so it was like 4 pages long I think... I wanted to give up halfway. Then after that I gave up reading the rest.
Kaji Yuuki also had an interview in spoon2Di, for his role as Eren in Attack on Titan which I also wanted to read but couldn't bring myself to. Mm. And an interview with KARNEVAL's mangaka. spoon2Di is pretty much all interviews for its issues.
Buttt. The poster for this issue was. (stars all over) A1 size. And the printing was so pretty, actually more like the resolution was so high, and the details were captured beautifully. AND KUSANAGI-SAN W/O HIS GLASSES. But the main point is: military uniforms. Yes I love military uniforms, in 3D or 2D. When spoon released a preview (I'm guessing), and news got all over that the poster would be military uniforms, the people I followed on pixiv all got to drawing Sarumi in military uniforms, and a few MikotoRei, one Anna, one Seri...even the Gold and Silver Kings, and when I checked the K tag, I discovered a Akiyama and Benzai military uniform sketch. Aaaahh seriously melting under all the military uniforms goodness.
Okay. Enough spazzing haha.
And I also went to Bishan Library on Sun and slacked my whole afternoon off there. The 2nd floor, specifically the shelves at the farthest left, is just full of good books. I personally prefer buying fiction books/novels than borrowing them, don't know why. I also hardly find good fiction books at the library, to be honest. Oh, and I rarely borrow photography books even though photog is a passion of mine. I would borrow those on digital imaging, but I haven't got any software (ahem, photoshop/lightroom, the works) to try out the techniques on.
Planning on getting Photoshop maybe at the end of the year, who knows. Or maybe when I get into university. Also wanna get Paint Tool SAI (for which I'll require Windows). I wanna try out Illustrator as well, but I may not get as much use out of it.

So I did say that I was expecting my Shuuen Re:Write & ROOT FIVE albums by Friday... but they have not arrived. *gloom* I'm pretty much checking the tracking everyday. Some more CDs are getting released soon~~
And also from Thursday to today (Sunday) Kinokuniya had a 20% off for members!! But being ever broke.... hurhurhur. I'm just gonna wait for the Summer one. And hopefully AMNESIA artbook will be in stock. It was in one week and then after a few days I dropped by Kino it was GONE. OTL and also I hope the Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles artbook will be in stock too.
But anyway, on Saturday I went Cold Storage to buy snacks!

Recently I also got tuition for a few subjects. Yeah. I'm someone who needs tuition because she has no guts to ask a teacher questions. So I end up spending my dad's money yeah okay everyone can come bash me nao. *gloom* I tried a period of no tuition and try to ask my teachers about my schoolwork but I failed horribly. My schoolwork and test results ended up like... lol. I remember when I was in Sec 3 I got 0 for a mini quiz in Elementary Maths. Ahaha.... But busy busy nowadays, so I'm not blogging alot.
Plus my life isn't really that interesting so I don't have anything to blog about. Mm. But I feel bad for just posting lyrics because first and foremost this is a personal blog lol.
Ohoh and today reality gave me a slap in the face lol. Because Cosfest used to be in June, so I always put Cosfest in the group of "first half of the year events". But in recent years it's been held in July, but it hasn't registered to my

Hello!
Here's another random update on my life! So anyway, Lunar New Year was quite fruitful (ahemangbao) so I went to do some shopping that I've been meaning to do for months! I actually ordered some items from CDJapan but they are not here yet because I chose the Registered SAL method (cheapest method that is also trackable) which takes around 1-3 weeks. (well they said the longest is 12 weeks, but hey, this is Singapore... it can't be that bad..)
But! On Monday evening I made an order to Amazon Japan and they have arrived! Okay, the deliveryman tried to deliver it yesterday but I wasn't available, so I got them today. The shipping was expensive ;_; now I know why people use proxies when buying from Amazon Japan even though they ship internationally. Amazon Japan only uses one method, and that International Express Shipping by DHL. But anyway, the packaging was well done lol! It came in a medium-sized box (which I shall put to use, storing items lol) and the items were packed together in a plastic wrapping backed with cardboard and glued to the bottom of the box, so that the items won't fly around the box when handled.

Other items I bought were the two novels for K! Super happy that I managed to get them, because they were sold out at Kino and I couldn't order them in D; Then when I saw that Amazon had them stocked I was like ZETTAI KAU. Hahaha. I bought the soft cover Kodansha Box version. Seriously, the books are so *o* like yeah I can't find an adjective right now lol. The box has a really nice grain and the books' page edges were coloured blue and red to match the Kings. The actual book cover has an illustration of their Sword of Damocles (but it's not very clear, probably there for design/aesthetics lol /shot)
Super happy today, heeheehee 2828. Can't wait for CDJapan stuff to arrive. And hopefully I don't have to order from Amazon again D; expensive ah. Will be buying some more stuff soon~

Yo yo! Alrights, so I totally forgot about blogging to usher in the New Year and wish all you guys a Prosperous Lunar New Year /slapped. 本当にごめんなさい
Anyways~ It's already the end of 初二, I am so sorry for not greeting you guys earlier! But, how has everyone's New Year been so far? I think many people go visiting for all 3 days, but for me I only visit my grandparents on Day 1. My dad usually just stays home and watch TV shows (and sleeps uncharacteristically late). Yeah. Well, I do stay home and use the computer for the whole day as well....
AH! Just to mention the Popin' Cooking video Nanami and I had planned, we actually didn't manage to play with it on Thursday because some family matters cropped up (for me) so we had to postpone it. Maybe within the week or so!
I don't think anyone knows, but I'm super obsessed with K lately (actually ever since it started). (like totally. My feels just exploded after it ended) Not sure if I'm getting more otaku or if K was really just that awesome. Because let's face it, I've been a almost-hikikomori for 2 years. (I do go out when I need to, I just don't actively make plans to, so I stay at home like 90% of the time). At least I'm going to school everyday but outside that I'm still a hikki. *nods*
Anyway! I'm super excited because there's gonna be Season 2 so I hope that will really flesh out the universe, characters and round it up properly! I think the Green King MAY have been eaten (??) by the Colourless King but it's just a guess. I hope we get to see the other Clans at least. And also I want to know why does SCEPTER4 dislike the Green Clan (or at least is bad with them). Ahhhh seriously though. AND ALSO. I tried ordering K SIDE: BLUE & K SIDE: RED through Kino, but I think they couldn't order it in........ I'm really bad at reading novels but I just wanna keep it! (I bought Vampire Knight novella when I was in Japan in DEC'09 and I haven't even read them yet even though I can read Kagerou Days) I actually vaguely remember the first line of VK Novella Ice Blue Sin I think. Something about a "St. Chocolat Day" (LOLOL we all know where that comes from).
PIKO's Vocaloid Concept Album "HITOKOE -42701340-" is gonna be released on the 20th! Super excited and I will also take this chance to order a few other CDs in and then have them shipped together =w= Planning to order K Artbook Vol 2 (Because Vol 1 was already closed for pre-order when I found out about it....) in March, along with root5's new single (I swear I'm not gonna listen to the song for like a week or something because my heart can't take it. WHAT IS UP WITH THE LYRICS)
And also, Dasoku and Mi-chan seriously have to use other sites to sell their CDs because it's bloody expensive to get them through a secondary service because THREE! and Animate don't ship outside Japan.

Hello hello I'm back again~ LOL sometimes I wonder what I'm doing with this blog. I seem to post more romanised lyrics than entries about my own life. Hnn, I really don't know what's the direction I want to go in with this blog ahaha. I mean, usually it's lyrics/non-personal stuff only or personal stuff only right?! But anyway, I only started putting up romanised lyrics because I couldn't find them anywhere else, or the ones that I find have errors in them.
Last week I tried to translate ORANGE, but I got stuck at the 3rd stanza, the one that goes
"aishikirenai kimi no koto
tsurarete naku watashi mo yowai koto"
I couldn't figure how to translate it properly. I translate things too literally. My Japanese standard is also only at JLPT N4 by the way. I think according to JLPT it's a "average daily conversation" standard, but I'm not sure. N2 means you can work in Japan, and N1 is fluent. Probably. I can't remember.
Well anyway, the first half of every year is always very boring for the Singaporean otaku because events don't take place until end-June. We used to have events in the beginning of the year but I think the organising team put the project on hold...? I don't think they closed the event for good.
I've also started school, and I'm trying to pick up my pace, because well, I've not been studying for over a year so I'm really rusty. Need to get into the faculty I want. (My desired degree is in National University of Singapore's Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, and from what I've read on their website, applicants don't gain admission into the course, but the faculty first, then they choose the degree they wish to do within that faculty. Very strange, unlike the other degrees.)
Anyway, it's a new year for KiraCandy as well. Some members graduated out of the team, and we have new girls joining us. Trying to get used to all this as well.

Within the last week I also mixed a cover (I really have no idea how to mix properly. I just EQ and add effects where necessary, and also reduce breaths) BUT! It's only on my personal FB because I don't think it sounds nice enough for the world to listen to. I covered Hitorinbo Envy (独りんぼエンヴィ), produced by koyori/電ポルP. It's at a comfortable key for me to sing without warming up (LOL). Vocaloid songs are too high seriously, lol. After singing a song once through my throat hurts lolol.
Oh well, mikitoP uploaded a new song, and I might romanise it within tonight, or tomorrow. I think most likely tomorrow, because I have to study today.

Yosh. It's been 9 days into the new year, and yes I'm only writing a New Year Resolutions list now.
Mini update: I had new spectacles made yesterday! No photos, sorry ^^;
On to the Resolutions~ I'm writing them out here so I can refer to them at various periods in the year... Will keep a link on the empty tab I have (up there, there's an empty page that contains only my flavors.me link).
1. Improve my spiritual walk
2. Draw more & sell artwork at events.
3. Make clothes. (Mostly costumes, but I wanna make casual wear too)
4. Successfully complete A levels.
5. Lose weight... and so that I look nice in cosplay, and so that I can look ikemen! (because why on earth are guys so skinny)(by the way I'm actually not that fat, in case I start getting judged as a stereotypical otaku)
---minibreak--- These 5 resolutions were actually made last year in the middle of December. So from No. 6 onwards, these are the resolutions I'm making now.
6. Speak more Japanese & learn more vocabulary.
7. Upload my first proper "utattemita".
8. Take more photos.
9. Save more money.
10. Be less hikikomori.
11. Be less bitter, and try to find the small things to take joy in.
The following would be... wishes (?) rather than resolutions, because I can't exactly accomplish them by myself.
1. I want to find a soulmate, someone who shares the same fandoms as me, and has the same interests as me. I'm really serious on this one. I mean, I do know a few people who like gyaru fashion, Harajuku street style, vocaloid/utaite, and read the same manga as I do, but we aren't really like "chummy-close" to each other, and they already have their own friends to share their love with. The people I'm close with are sadly, not interested in the same interests as me.
2. I want more single friends. In other words, friends who are not attached, who are not lovey-dovey with their partners that it's hard to penetrate their bubble of love. Which leaves me alone, the only single person. I have already accepted that I'm not gonna be able to get a boyfriend, so I can only wish to have more friends who are single.
3. I actually want to dye my hair brown (unsure of what shade) with a thick purple streak going down the right side of my head. I'm not sure if I can achieve it this year, but I'll see. (money issues)
It would be nice if my family could move house this year too... since my dad's been talking about it for very long, and I think the change of environment could do some good for us. But that will depend on many things.
I actually want to do my room up in the Japanese student style. The main reason is so that I can have photoshoots in my own room lol. Because in many manga, there will be scenes where the characters are in someone's/their own room, so I can use my room as a backdrop for those scenes when I'm cosplaying those manga. And to be honest, I really feel that the Japanese student style is quite nice/organised, and to my liking, lol.

Lol this is becoming some AFA countdown. But AFA is one of my top events to go to. I just like it a lot, probably because it was the first event I cosplayed at? EOY also has a special place in my heart, because it was the first event I went to. (2008, so it was the "old" EOY) I'm still supporting EOY now even though they're a new team now!
KiraCandy will have a booth at EOY, if you follow EOY's updates on FB, it's called "Sweet Wonderland" haha. Details aren't out yet on what we will be doing, but I won't be there as a KC Girl, because I will be cosplaying. Will drop by and play with the girls whenever I'm bored though, lol!
Anyway, the other day (Tues?) I went to Kinokuniya. Bad move, stupid decision, because I squandered like half of my allowance in that trip. Uh-huh, a bad move, especially with AFA in the weekend. Counting my money and I'm like, "I can't buy anything during AFA... ;_;" aka story of my life. Haha. I almost never have enough money during events to buy things. Sorry, I haz poor money management.
But what I bought were Popteen December issue and Danmaku Yumesuke October issue (and the 6th issue apparently). I almost died reading Danmaku because the magazine is like 80% Japanese text. Actual standard Japanese, not slang like Popteen (and lots of katakana and random English words lol). I read 10 pages and I think I've hit my limit on the amount of Japanese I can read per day, lol!
But, anyway, firstly, for those who don't know what Danmaku Yumesuke is, from what I gather based on its contents, it's a magazine which features NND users from the VOCALOID section, like utaite 歌い手 and Vocaloid producers (VocaloP). And I think the previous issue (3 or 4?) featured DANCEROID as well. Oh, and Merochin was featured in this issue. Though I haven't seen other yattemita users featured except utaite and odorite 踊り手. It's mainly just interviews and small-scale photoshoot sessions with the various users. Interviews actually reveal some about the utaite/odorite's character, if the transcript actually keeps true to what they actually said during the interview. Dasoku actually slipped from using "boku" to "ore" sometimes during the interview, lol. (suchagoodlookingkaishainomg)
ANYWAY!
I've been really addicted, okay, not addicted, but the tune just keeps playing in my head, to Ophelia (by Nem) and root5's Mikazuki Hime. These two songs just randomly start playing in my head, I'm not kidding lol. Unfortunately, Ophelia is CD-only, and I don't wanna download it, so I've been using YT to listen to it lol. Ophelia basically has two(?) versions: Dasoku and Mi-chan. Dasoku's ver is in the 4x4 (four by four) collaboration CD that was released last year Jan. Mi-chan's ver is in Nem's album (feat various utaites) apparently called "Nem's Garden" but it's "Moratorium" in the katakana. I'm not really sure either because I only got serious in the whole VOCALOID music scene this year, lol. Even though I've been listening to Vocaloids and utaites (without even knowing they were called utaites lol) since 2007, ahaha ^^;; Oh, and it was released last year June.
Hai. And anyway, now that I'm seriously into the whole Vocalo-music scene and also because I've become somewhat of an audiophile, I've been wanting to buy CDs of the utaites I like and the producers that I like. (expensive though, lesigh). Speaking of which, on Tuesday I also went to HMV, just to look at the NND/Vocaloid section (hahaha yes, they have a shelf in the Japanese music section) and I noticed papiyon's CD BUT I didn't buy it, because I already have no money. Hahaha. Maybe some other day, since I think it will just stay there....... There aren't many people into Vocalo-music in SG to the point where they will buy CDs. But frankly, I treat the P's as pros even though technically they are amateurs, esp if they are doing producing as a hobby while having a full-time job outside. Some of their songs can be/are better that the current mainstream music selling nowadays. And anyway, I'm an audiophile, so I can tell the difference in audio quality, esp if the difference is really great, such as background music loss, beat loss, synth or something similar loss. Stuff like that. And really poor quality music is hard to listen to. They sound fuzzy-ish, and not as clear. But anyway, my main point was that CD quality music is something worth paying for. Because videos on YT/NND are compressed (most of the times anyway, because for most of the utaites, they are premium members so they don't have a limit on their file size, so they can have 356kbps audio).
Alright, enough yak. I think that whole chunk was uninteresting to read ahaha. Can't wait for AFA, hopefully can drag a friend along than going alone D: Even my other friends have their own friends to go with. And some of my friends are cosplaying so I doubt I can walk around with them much... Oh well. Going in JK wear for Sat, and gyaru style on Sun, for Marble Collection! (:

I haven't blogged in ages, so I thought I'd come by and say something. Lately, my life hasn't been interesting, and there hasn't been anything interesting to blog about.
Anyway, recently, I've joined some NND communities, mainly those of the utaites I really like. I started joining commus because of PIKO really, LOL. He was going to hold a Nico Nama Housou (live streaming/broadcast) and I really wanted to watch it, but it was "community-limited", so I actually deliberated for 2 days before joining the community!! Hahaha
So after that, I started joining more commus and watching the various housous the utaites host. Takes up alot of time really... ^^; sometimes the housous clash and I'm like "omg which one should I watch argh I can't timeshift either one". Yep... So it's like, I have to choose between which utaite I like better....*cough* Most housous also go on for quite also... Usually 1 hour to 2 hours. 96neko had one recently which was like 3hours. And she was playing Donkey Kong on the Wii.... LOL. It went on until 3AM, srsly (Japan time). There was one Marasy hosted in which he got a new iPhone 5 and he was playing with SIRI for one hour. That is something admirable, in my opinion. And his reactions are srsly adorable!! And his Engrish is so cute ahahahah.
I think it's the language but I really think Japanese voices are super nice! *coughvoicefetishcough* All the utaites' housous I've watched, I think their speaking voices are all really nice! Except Pokota. Okay, his voice is nice, but I don't really like his way of speech. Like, he speaks with a certain drawl and it's slightly tiring, because personally I don't like people who speak slowly.
Alright, anyway. I've gotten some sort of plan for EOY, and I'm gonna get quotations soon from various places soon and get my costume tailored. Yes, yours truly does not know how to sew. Actually I do, but I sew really really slowly and I don't know how to make clothes.
Oh, and I'm not cosplaying for AFA because I've not the time, and also, I doubt I'll be staying long during AFA because I'll head off to church in the afternoon. I think I'll be going for Day 1. Don't think I'll go for Day 2 because it's just SPHERE that I'll be going for...so. Okay, actually I'm also not really sure. I'll make a decision later.
Right. Anything else I should update on...?
Oh, if I must say this, then I'm actually quite hooked on mikitoP's latest work, Sarishi no Hara. (or Sarishinohara). I love clear's version!!
And, also Starbucks Autumn drink: Salted Caramel Mocha Frappuccino. I LOVE it. I drank the hot one today, and I think I prefer the ice-blended one instead.
